Our Harvest

This year’s harvest went very well.  We finished completely a couple weeks ahead of all our years.  This year is also the first year that everything could get picked.  The grapes were beautiful!  We learned some new tricks from our vineyard manager this year to speed up picking so we could pick most of it ourselves along with friends and family!  We picked almost 13 tonnes of grapes this year…Whew!

We were involved in the picking and this gave us excellent control over the quality of the grapes received. We select the grapes to put in our picking bins right on the vine and hand-pick. We are in complete care of the vineyard and have managed to double and sometimes triple our production.  our first vineyard is now doing what we have targeted.  

We have a limited selection and expect to produce 500 cases of blackberry and 1000 cases of grape wines.
