We’ve also just released a trial traditional methode blackberry sparkling called Salish. A small private release of 10 cases that will be poured on Valentine’s weekend. Very intense blackberry yet dry with a small traditional bubbles more like a prossecco. Love your feedback on this!
Our latest news! First winery to release the latest trend in sparkling wine. Zork sparkling topper that re-seals the bubbles to keep it fresh for hours. See the latest press release. New Sparkling Topper!
First to release 100% Vancouver Island Tempranillo Grape. See Press Release: news-release-joses-temp-2011!
Mark is going to a invite only closed event for the premiers in Vancouver in July. Ten wineries from British Columbia were invited to pour at this event, with specific wine requests–in our case Pinot Gris! They only want the principal or winemaker and Mark is both, so we are very excited that we are being sought after. We feel privileged to be classified in this category.
See our latest RCW Press Release! We’ve done it again and won a total of 4 silver medals and 1 bronze medal this year at the Northwest Wine Summit and also the All Canadian Wine Championships.
ZORK! Strip and sip! We are now fully releasing our 2010 product line under the zork closures. The Zork is air permeable and recyclable. This ties into our sustainability profile but also the quality of the wines. The air permeability will give the wines a chance to mature and enhance in the bottle. The winemaker is very happy with the outcome. See latest news-release-zork-use-2011.
Our Labels! We’re excited about the new look. We designed these labels for consumers in mind as a quick pick by color and also food choices on the back label. It has the logo on the label which is our beginning; however, the new creek then flows out of the logo indicating a cohesiveness between old and new. The label is a window into nature with Rocky Creek’s logo the bountiful source of water which results in the natural newer image of the creek, with its west coast flair. That’s what we do a little traditional with latest techniques or products. It has a casual elegance but also just a step different.
