Wow, after a brief bit of snow it’s back to warm and sunny here in the Cowichan Valley.  Perfect weather for winter pruning which we will be starting this weekend.
Also getting our wines ready to bottle in March, so it will be a busy month.

Results from the ACWC are in, our wild blackberry has won a Silver medal - again; making it the best blackberry in Canada once again.
Consistently beating all competitors in its category, it’s won us more medals then any other wine. Won’t be released until summer- look for it in a great new bottle

Sounds like we’re bringing home silver medals for our Pinot Gris 2010, Ortega 2010 and Pinot Noir 2009.
