Christmas is only 11 days away!
okay, so that’s not really news, but it means only one more weekend of our tasting room being “open” and then it will be by appointment until May. (we’re open Friday & Saturday from 11 - 4 pm)
So it’s your last chance to pick up holiday purchases direct from the winery, otherwise you can visit one of the many stores which stock our products - including 6 new stores in Vancouver (yes, there are finally stores in Vancouver with our Blackberry dessert wine) See this page for a list of stores to find one near you.
For the first time this year we are selling gift baskets, in addition to the gift cylinders we have sold in the past. We also have new Rocky Creek Winery corkscrews in the gift shop.
Sales of our newest product, “Katherine’s Sparkle” have been brisk. We have a dozen cases left, and then we will be sold out, so thanks to everyone who has picked one up - both John Schreiner and Troy Townsin have given it very positive reviews. Also our Ortega 2008 has essentially sold out - we have a case or so left for sales in the tasting room, and then it’s gone also…)
So… whats on my christmas list this year? Glad you asked…. (Kidding!) actually, since I’ve been doing a lot of reno’s this year I’ve worn out some of my power tools… including the drill I got for Xmas while still in high school (it doesn’t owe me anything for sure). For fun I might get a new RPG computer game (yes I’m an old AD&D gamer who still enjoys escaping to other realms….). On a practical side, new tires for my car (I’m buying those for myself of course). Other than that, I don’t really have much of a list - life is pretty good to us, and I’m very thankful for that. Yes there is always more “stuff” we could own, but in reality we have it pretty good.
