Trellising Update

So trellising is the support structure that the grape vines (and blackberries) rely on to hold up all that fruit.

Installing the trellising is the single biggest priority this spring, as we expect to have a small crop this year, which would be impossible without the support.

Well, we’re making great progress, all the line posts (inside the rows) are in, the end posts are all in & anchored.  We’re now putting up cross-braces for our Geneva Double Curtain (a specific type of trellising), and running wire to support the vines.  We expect to be all complete within a couple more weeks.

Our estate vines are growing well, take a look at the growing shoots each with a couple of clusters of flowers, hopefully to become clusters of grapes.
