Vancouver

We booked a trip to Vancouver last Friday, now that harvest is all done and our vineyard put to bed for the winter.

We only stopped at two places - Ikea & Bosa Winery Supplies.

Ikea we haven’t been to in awhile, but had a very productive trip, including picking up a display case for our tasting room. Next year we plan to have more items available for purchase, so we needed a case to display them in. Wasn’t expecting to find it at Ikea, but they had one we both really liked.

Before we went to Ikea, we visited our friends at Bosa Grape Winery supplies (www.bosagrape.com). They supply us with pretty much all of our winery supplies from hardware like tanks, to supplies of yeast & nutrients. Always fun for me to go and look at new equipment…. So we picked up a small tank for our small trial run of sparkling wine, and some really neat items that we hope to test & showcase shortly. We’re really excited because we’ll be the first on the west coast of British Columbia with this new technology. Stay tuned - assuming our trial is successful we expect to announce it here….

And, as you’ve noticed, our new website is up and running. We’re so pleased with how it turned out - the website designers did a spectacular job. The only wrinkle was our email accounts being out of commission for a few days while we figured out why they weren’t working. If you want to send me a comment directly, you can at mark(at)rockycreekwinery.ca. this website is much easier to maintain and keep current, and the blog function is also a huge improvement over my old static html page. So I hope to post more frequently.
